We are looking to hire an Account Manager – as a member of the Sales and Service team, you’ll play an important role in GFCU achieving the organization’s strategic goals and promoting our corporate vision. To be our ideal candidate, you are strongly aligned to the values and integrity of the financial services environment and have:

· A post-secondary degree with a minimum of 2-4 years’ recent related experience, preferably in a Credit Union setting.  This includes financial experience with 1-2 years’ lending experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Experience with the sales and service of consumer financial products.

· Demonstrated proficiency in technology and financial related software programs

· Demonstrated proficiency in providing professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service to members

· Proven success in growing business through establishing community and member relationships

· Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills


· Establish, develop, and maintain member relationships, serving both their lending and investment needs, ensuring their financial well-being is a top priority.

· Advise and deliver on a full suite of deposit, investment and lending products and related services to meet the members’ needs.

· Within an assigned portfolio, deepen member relationships through the course of financial reviews, by understanding member needs through various stages of financial needs life stages

· Provide information and service related to the administration of estate accounts.

· Participate in the development, implementation and achievement of department goals, sales targets, and performance measurements.

· Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth to ensure skills and knowledge are up to date to meet position requirements.

· Other related duties as requested.
