As a Cloud Engineer you will be part of a team of professionals that works behind the scenes to help our organization with all of its technology needs.  We embrace a culture of continuous learning and are adapting of new technological advances.  Here is what you will be doing:

• Identify opportunities to build out or streamline systems, eliminating redundant solutions and maximizing investments in existing solutions by utilizing your deep subject matter expertise to design, deploy and migrate systems for LaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments
• Evaluate new technologies for fit in our current infrastructure architecture while ensuring the protection, integrity and security of the credit union’s electronic data
• Propose and present recommendations for cloud-based solutions
• Build and manage an IT cloud infrastructure capacity plan
• Design, transform and administer all cloud-based solutions including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Domo etc.
• Develop, document and communicate and enforce a cloud technology framework and standards policy
• Work with the team and other stakeholders to manage the design, implementation, development, documentation and maintenance of the credit union’s local and software-defined wide area network and technology
• Work collaboratively with the team to design and oversee access for local and software-defined networks including configuration and monitoring of virus protection and secure remote access; ensure all software is properly licensed and documented for maintenance and insurance purposes
• Maintain legacy servers, services, networking, backup and end-point protection systems
• Contribute to the maintenance of the information technology cybersecurity, disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Provide Tier 3 support effectively serving our internal members

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Information Systems with a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Microsoft & other cloud technologies, or an equivalent combination of education or experience is the minimum requirement for this position. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem is required with Microsoft Azure admin certification an asset and if not currently certified, will be a requirement to obtain within first two years of employment.  Experience with core LAN/WAN/SDWAN network technologies and experience with Enterprise Architecture and Process Automation and Agile/Scrum certification would be an advantage in this role. We are looking for a highly self-motivated and directed team member with a commitment to ongoing professional development and certifications.

Cornerstone Credit Union is looking for a highly motivated and exceptional leader to join our Strategy & Innovation team of professionals.

Reporting to the Director, Digital Enablement & Insights, the Manager, Cloud Solutions & Enterprise Security will lead our enterprise architecture transformation to a modern, cloud first IT architecture.  How will the Manager do this?  This will be achieved by leading the design, execution, and communication of Cornerstone Credit Union’s cloud architecture, network and enterprise security strategies designed to optimize cost and consumption efficiencies and to accelerate for greater scalability.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Architect, implement and support initiatives to migrate to cloud first solutions.
• Develop and lead the Data Loss Prevention program.
• Architect, implement and support secure branch network operations.
• Ensure IT security operations are carried out effectively.
• Ensure all attack surfaces are covered and that the security posture of our cloud infrastructure, hardware, software, and networking IT infrastructure is solid.
• Coach, mentor, develop and motivate a team of professionals and build a culture of empowerment and accountability allowing your team to meet and exceed member needs while helping to achieve credit union goals within all strategic priority areas.
• Provide oversight to the security team that routinely completes critical security analyses including threat modeling, security scanning, security administration, malware analysis, secure database management/encryption of private data, etc.
• Identify business opportunities and ensure member satisfaction.
• Superior business acumen, combined with advanced technical skills on how to apply information to solve business problems.

What We Are Looking For . . . . .

• A subject matter expert in processes, tools, techniques, and practices for assuring adherence to standards associated with accessing, altering and protecting organizational data.
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Science, professional technical designation or equivalent experience in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of job-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Cloud, network and security experience is an asset, including designing and architecting solutions based on client requirements. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar security designations would be an asset.
• Possessing a strong knowledge of industry security frameworks and standards including SOC 2, ISO 27001/2, NIST, COBIT would be to your advantage.PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Security or other related certifications considered an asset.
• Familiarity with IT project management, Security (NIST), Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to understand and assess stakeholder groups.
• Experience identifying and documenting change opportunities, risks, and impacts across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization at the appropriate level of detail, both within IT and the business.
• Build strong relationships with change sponsors and agents and provide coaching.
• Experience formulating written business cases, communications, presentations.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, developing and motivating a team of professionals.
• A self-motivated and driven individual able to take on challenges that are a stretch but not unrealistic.
• Have a track record of dealing with high complex situations, make functional and operational decisions with a broad impact on the continued operation and future development of Cornerstone Credit Union.
