The Information Governance Specialist is responsible to support the operation of the Information Governance function including:
- Data Definitions and Rules Management
- Understands the business and its data needs.
- Ensures data definitions and rules accurately reflect the business needs.

- Supports system and process data controls that are in place.
- Monitors data health metrics and alerts the Information Governance Lead when these controls are not being effective or are missing.

What will you do?
- Support the management of the regulatory reporting system including the Bank of Canada and OSFI Portals.
- Administer Microsoft Purview including the curation of data assets, glossary, asset classification, and user management.
- Maintain IG Yammer Site with announcements, educational posts, and training.
- Support the development of Information Governance training, policies, procedures, and user guides.
- Monitor OSFI, CDIC sites for new updates to reports.
- Support the analysis of the complexity of OSFI changes in collaboration with BI and SMEs.
- Gather and analyze requirements for any additions to the enterprise data model.
- Serve as backup Scrum Master for the IG agile team.

A Social Media Marketing Specialist does the following:
- Develop and implement social media strategy and improvement tactics. You know how to make a plan, and either stay on course or course correct to meet and surpass our goals.
- Manage the day-to-day activities on social media accounts. You will manage comments and DMs, flag outstanding information, and engage in social listening and/or monitoring.
- Create social media content. You will create engaging captions that vary for each platform. You are comfortable with creating graphics (images, video, templates), and hashtag research doesn’t scare you.
- Utilize social media content for each platform and audience. You will create a schedule and have a good understanding of optimal posting times on different platforms as well as their character counts. You know what alt text is, and how to use it.
- Increase and measure desired social media metrics. You are comfortable with engagement metrics and baselines. When it comes to social media analytics, you know how to define and measure KPIs, suggest improvements based on that information, and create a monthly report .

THE POSITION: Under the direction of the Manager, Digital & Core Banking, the VeriBranch Lead is responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and uncovering areas for improvement during the implementation of VeriBranch, an omni-channel banking platform.
