Relationship Advisor II

We are currently hiring for a full-time Relationship Advisor II to provide coverage for 18 months at our Nipawin service location. The Relationship Advisor II is accountable for the growth, development, and oversight of the lending and financial needs of our consumer and business members. Reporting to the Regional Manager, Retail Banking Services, this role is ideal for someone passionate about relationship building, small business support, and member service. Please note that this position is regionally based and will require travel.

Support Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed of applicable legislation and compliance standards. Take action to ensure full adherence to policies including anti-money laundering regulations, privacy laws, and market code requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree in Agriculture or Business will be a valuable asset;
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of job-related experience, preference given to candidates with previous lending experience and a demonstrated track record for success in the implementation and achievement of sales goals;
  • Passion for co-operative values and for involvement with the local community;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and respectful relationships with all parties including staff, peers, community, as well as current and potential business partners;
  • Strong decision making and organizational leadership skills with the ability to plan and manage resources;
  • Ability to make challenging decisions respectfully and effectively;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to act as an effective spokesperson and ambassador for the Credit Union.

The Wealth Specialist is a mutual funds licensed wealth advisor responsible for providing wealth solutions to members and non-members.  Generating growth of the Credit Union’s investment portfolio by sourcing, identifying, and capitalizing on opportunities to help individuals meet their current and future financial goals is a primary focus of the role.  The role must hold or be eligible to hold a mutual funds sales license.  The Wealth Specialist demonstrates Diamond North Credit Union’s vision and commitment to the Credit Union’s membership and to co-operative principles.

Accounting Analyst

Diamond North Credit Union is currently recruiting for an Accounting Analyst (Permanent Full-Time).  The physical office location will be determined based on available space and the successful applicant.

The Accounting Analyst provides support for accounting activities including payables administration, processing and posting functions, projects, and general ledger balancing and administration.  The position also assists in the monitoring and reporting of activities as they relate to workflow, volumes, effectiveness, system controls, procedures, ad practices.  Collaboration with other business units and external parties is necessary in order to meet the service and regulatory requirements of the Credit Union.
