The Human Resources Administrator supports the credit union providing Human Resources administration to support the board, staff and management.  The position partners with staff and management alike to deliver high quality services related to recruitment, employee onboarding and orientation, staff development, performance management, payroll and benefits administration and human resources policy and procedure oversight.  The HR Administrator has a key role in ensuring the strategic link to the organizations Strategic and Business plans.

The Human Resources Administrator is a hands-on representative of the Corporate Services Department whose role is to help facilitate all aspects of employee relations. With diverse yet substantive job responsibilities, the Human Resources Administrator works with both current employees and new hires, making this a key position within the organization.

You are open minded, and can see the BIG picture!  You will support the management team, as well as employees through all Human Resources related issues.  When required, you will advise managers on employment related matters among others.  You have a network you can connect with when needed to ensure everyone’s best interests are met.  You work well in a team setting and on your own.  You are a great communicator, and can adjust your style when required.  You possess superior organization skills, are attentive to detail, and continually meet deadlines!

The ideal candidate will possess a Human Resources Degree or Diploma, plus four to six years of job related work experience.  You have a proven commitment to continuous self-development, and believe in lifelong learning.  You are bondable.  You are savvy in the Microsoft Office Suite of products, as well as other Human Resources Information Management software.

This exciting opportunity is available in our Quill Lake or Kelvington Branch, with travel required from time to time between branches.  Consideration may be given to the right candidate for this position to be Hybrid, where you will be expected to work a minimum of one day per week at the Quill Lake Branch, and the remaining portion of time remotely, within Saskatchewan, or in the Kelvington Branch.  You will participate in a comprehensive development plan, equipping you with the knowledge and tools to confidently assist our team, and grow your career.  You will be part of an amazing team, working together to meet our members’ and organization goals!

Lending Services Supervisor

Reporting to the Manager of Lending Services, the Lending Services Supervisor is a member of the management team.  They will ensure department needs are met through leadership, supervision and auditing, while maintaining a complex lending portfolio, including agriculture and commercial files.  The incumbent has direct oversight of the Lending Administration team.  The incumbent will ensure all activities are in compliance with sound business practices, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.

The incumbent will primarily work out of the Quill Lake Branch and will be required to travel to our Kelvington and Jansen branches.  They will also travel within and outside of our geographic trading area to meet our current and future members’ financial needs.  At Accent Credit Union, we value our members, and take pride in building strong, lasting relationships.  We love to see our members succeed both personally and professionally.  Your expertise in this area will be considered an asset.

Senior Loans Officer

Our Loans Officers are available to our members through in-person meetings, phone calls, and other forms of electronic communication. The ability to provide expert advice when it’s truly needed is crucial to meeting our members needs. We know our members, and to see their successes is extremely rewarding. The Senior Loans Officer is responsible for oversight of their own lending portfolio, which will include agriculture, and commercial files. Each portfolio has a different level of complexity and presents the opportunity for new learnings each and every day! The role of Loans Officer can be challenging, yet rewarding, and the reward far outweighs the challenge!

You have a desire to learn and have an in-depth understanding of lending practices and procedures. The ideal candidate will have many years of service in the credit union system, and a minimum of six to ten years as a lender. You have an appetite for risk, and know when to take the risk, and when to shy away from it. You will be responsible to mitigate risk of default. When required you will initiate action to collect on delinquent loans, as necessary.

Building relationships is important. In fact, it is essential to our business. The other key part of the Loans Officer role is to foster new relationships and grow new business. You will regularly visit and maintain contact with your current and potential members. You enjoy the rush of that first contact, and have no problem popping into a business for the first time to meet the owner and take those first steps in fostering a relationship. When the time is right, you’ll ask for the business!

You will be required to travel within and outside of our trading area and to other branches.
