The Opportunity:

Radius Credit Union is seeking a Chief Financial & Risk Officer (CFRO) for a full-time, permanent position. The work location is flexible and may be based at any Radius Credit Union branch or remotely, depending on the successful candidate.

As a member of the Executive Management Team, the CFRO provides strategic leadership for the organization’s finance and enterprise risk functions, helping guide sustainable growth, sound governance, and long-term organizational resilience. The ideal candidate will bring progressive senior leadership experience, preferably within the financial services industry. A skilled collaborator and relationship builder, this individual will establish credibility across the organization and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Executive Management Team, Board, and employees.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial & Risk Officer will develop and implement corporate policies related to finance, capital, and liquidity management. The CFRO will lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and management of key risks, including credit, interest rate, liquidity, and operational risk. The role also provides executive oversight of the organization’s technology strategy and projects and ensures effective regulatory compliance practices are maintained.

The successful candidate will bring proven financial acumen, strategic business insight, and a strong commitment to service, along with a clear understanding of the competitive environment. Success in this role will require the ability to communicate complex matters clearly, engage teams across the organization, and build alignment around shared priorities. Commercial Lending Specialist

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Commercial Lending Specialist to be based at our Radville Branch, with the possibility of serving additional branch locations. This senior lending role is focused on managing and growing a commercial portfolio, serving the lending needs of commercial and agricultural members, and delivering exceptional member service. In addition to portfolio management responsibilities, the successful candidate will have opportunities to share their expertise, support the development of lending team members, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our lending function. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial lending background supported by relevant education and significant experience in the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in commercial lending, sound credit judgment, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex member relationships. They will contribute to lending strategy and balance portfolio growth with prudent risk management. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and strategically grow a high-quality commercial lending portfolio.
Interviewing members and prospective members to assess financing needs and recommend solutions.
Analyzing financial information, assessing risk, and structuring lending opportunities.
Approving or recommending commercial and agriculture loans and mortgages within established lending authorities.
Support organizational lending strategies and contribute to the continued growth of lending knowledge and capability across the organization, including providing coaching and mentorship to team members.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Identify opportunities to connect members with the full range of financial products and services that support their goals.
Building long-term relationships with members, businesses, farms, and community stakeholders.

Lending Service Representative

We are seeking three experienced, full-time Lending Service Representatives to be based out of our Ogema, Tribune and/or Radville Branches. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, responsibilities include interviewing members and potential members, analyzing loan applications, granting and/or recommending consumer, agricultural and commercial loans and mortgages and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures. The position is also responsible for collection activity and cross-selling the full range of Credit Union products.

Looking to expand your career? We will consider hiring the right candidates for a Lending Service Representative Trainee position. An LSR trainee must be a motivated individual with some financial education/experience and a commitment to the financial services industry and credit union system. An LSR Trainee will work with our experienced Lending Team and management to kickstart their career.

Preferred/Ideal Qualifications:
• 2-4+ years of experience, consumer, agricultural, and/or commercial lending.
• One year of related post-secondary education. (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Ability to interpret complex member financial information, assess risk and determine product/service opportunities.
• Proven success working in a sales, service and goal oriented environment.
• Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

Business Development Manager

Job Profile:

Radius Credit Union is seeking a full time Business Development Manager to be based out of our Radville Branch. Reporting to the Manager of Retail Operations, this position is responsible for managing the operations of a branch team in order to provide products and services to members to ensure the achievement of the organization’s goals and strategies.

In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the assigned branches, this position will focus on business development by building long-term financial relationships with members through the delivery of deposit products and lending services to meet the members’ needs.

Responsible for a full range of performance management including goal setting, coaching, development and evaluating performance; motivation and recognition of staff; determining staffing, scheduling and training needs.

Qualifications:

Our successful candidate will have seven plus years of related experience and/or education in the financial industry. Ideal qualities include:

High-level knowledge of financial industry, trends and credit union advantages.
Proficient in business development and leadership.
Lending experience is an asset; working knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements associated with lending.
Wealth Management & Investment experience is an asset including working knowledge and understanding of investment services and registered products.
A commitment to self-development, self-motivated and able to work independently to guide a team of individuals to ensure branch activities align with the strategic corporate objectives.
