Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Brand, the Manager, Brand will analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies. This position develops and directs business activities, to the team, related to the design, development and implementation of Cornerstone Credit Union’s marketing plan. The incumbent will own product development and market segmentation. The Manager, Brand is responsible for the development and design of our corporate brand that will improve awareness and drive business to the credit union. Work collaboratively with team members and departments to deliver professional marketing programs that effectively and accurately communicates defined objectives and business goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Build a coaching culture to support a team of specialists to solve their own problems, make their own decisions and own their personal development. Provide your team with experiential learning opportunities.
  • Support the development and messaging of the brand narrative ensuring consistent alignment to Cornerstone Credit Union brand, vision, purpose, values and strategies.
  • Develop, execute and manage marketing programs and campaigns utilizing data to provide members with advice and financial literacy in the moment the members need it. Develop campaign reports and data analysis to monitor growth, member loyalty and overall campaign success.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of our member or general market research initiatives. Analyze primary and secondary research, prepare recommendations for action and execute approved plan to improve the overall brand experience for our members.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitive activity.
  • Lead the development of department budgets and tactical plans and monitor performance in relation to budget and plans.

What we are looking for . . . .

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Marketing and/or Communications plus 5 to 7 years of job-related experience in marketing, brand strategy or digital media or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The incumbent must have a proven ability to work cross-functionally, be a creative thinker and problem solver, possess effective communication skills, have project management experience with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques, and be an analytical thinker who is able to identify long-term opportunities and trends.

Manager, Credit Adjudication (Any Branch – Cornerstone Credit Union)

Cornerstone Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated, risk conscious individual to provide guidance and strong leadership to the Credit Adjudication team!

As the Manager, Credit Adjudication you will be responsible for the management of the credit adjudication function of the credit union. You will monitor lending activities, provide approval for complex files and be responsible to coordinate credit related audit activities. Ensuring quality controls, risk mitigation practices and policies and procedures are in in place and adhered to are critical to your success in this role.

You will manage the development of modeling tools and analytical systems; research, identify and monitor emerging trends with respect to growth, profitability and member behaviors, and analyze and report on information that supports recommendations and decisions.

As a Manager, Credit Adjudication you will provide leadership and direction to your team and build a culture of empowerment and accountability allowing your team to do their very best work.

What We Are Looking For . . . . .

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in finance, commerce or business, plus 5 to 7 years job-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of credit adjudication, credit risk mitigation, and pricing methodologies is essential. Proven leadership skills including the ability to coach is required and exceptional communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills is necessary in this position.

Cornerstone Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and exceptional leader that will provide operational direction for its Member Contact Centre. Reporting to the Director, Retail Banking, the successful candidate will manage the day to day operations of the Member Contact Centre, delivering a full range of member services via telephone and electronic means.

The successful individual will lead, coach, mentor, develop and motivate a team of professionals in a relationship based advisory service model that will provide exceptional member service in the delivery of a full suite of financial products and services.

This role is positioned to lead the branch’s team of Financial Services Advisors in developing new business relationships and capitalizing on opportunities to enhance relationships with existing members and clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director, Retail Banking to prepare budgets, set sales objectives and priorities as well as operational standards for the department.

The Manager, Contact Centre will manage all department activities to ensure compliance with sound business practice, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, community minded individual with post-secondary education in business plus four to six years of lending and/or management related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This individual must be comfortable making independent decisions and solving problems. Proven leadership skills and the ability to coach, establish performance standards and evaluate performance are required. Exceptional communication skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to excellence and member service are a necessity.

A diploma or degree in Information Technology and Programing/Development;

Experience with MIS or related technology;

Experienced with programming and coding;

Experienced in use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) including Operating System (Windows 10 and Server 2016);

Experience with PowerShell or other standard programming language;
