Do you value strong business relationships, and do you like to try new things? At Cornerstone Credit Union we are expanding our team by introducing a mobile Mortgage Specialist role, and this could be you! Be the first person to take on a dynamic new role.

We’re looking for a subject matter expert in all areas of mortgage lending, including both construction and ready to move (RTM) financing to join our team at Cornerstone Credit Union! We are looking for a total of two Mortgage Specialists – one will provide service to Yorkton and area, and the other will provide service to Emerald Park and area.

As a Mortgage Specialist you’ll be an important part of a team of knowledgeable salespeople who share a genuine commitment in partnering with our members to achieve their goals. As a Mortgage Specialist your main objective will be to grow Cornerstone Credit Union’s residential mortgage lending portfolio. You will do this by delivering flexible mortgage lending solutions, providing professional expertise, and presenting timely mortgage advise all while creating exceptional member experiences for both new and existing members.

Specifically, we are looking for someone who has the ability to provide innovative and creative mortgage lending solutions and advise and who has/is:

  • working knowledge of CHMC and Sagen guidelines
  • a deep understanding of local markets and client base
  • strong working relationships with realtors, home builders and centers of influence
  • a flexible work schedule and location; is mobile and accessible to member needs – to meet when and where the member chooses
  • a self-motivated individual with an aggressive sales and service attitude
  • will work independently and effectively in a remote work environment

Post-secondary education in Business or a related discipline, with 3 to 7 years of progressive sales and service experience managing a diverse lending portfolio in a consumer banking environment and/or agriculture or small business lending (including mortgages) or an equivalent combination of both education and experience is the minimum requirement for this position. Having taken individual lending products & services courses and legislative training would be beneficial and if you know what makes Cornerstone Credit Union different or about the products and services we provide, that’s even better!

Systems Analyst I – Yorkton Branch

As a Systems Analyst I you will be part of a team of professionals that works behind the scenes to help our organization with all of its technology needs.  Here is what you will be doing:

  • Determine requirements, troubleshoot & resolve Tier 1 & Tier 2 support issues related to various hardware (desktop, laptop, tablets, smartphone, printers/copiers) and software (Microsoft & 3rd party) systems to name a few.
  • Use a member first approach when dealing with staff, asking the right questions to determine requirements, addressing their concerns and providing the right solutions.
  • Maintain a positive and patient attitude when dealing with support requests.
  • Support end users helping to increase their digital literacy.
  • Responsible for configuring, monitoring and maintaining endpoint devices.
  • Manage tasks effectively that includes planning, testing, deploying and maintaining of various tools (hardware, software, application systems, etc).
  • Effectively manage time and priorities to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Procure hardware and software as needed including inventory control.
  • Document & maintain authorized changes to various systems that includes tickets, inventory, change management, policy, procedure and processes.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge base articles that will help to improve staff digital literacy.
  • Setup, manage and maintain endpoint devices including users.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough familiarity and working knowledge of information systems.

Post-secondary education in Computing and Information Systems with 3 to 5 years job-related experience or an equivalent combination is the minimum requirement for this position. Knowledge of Microsoft systems including Azure, Intune, Endpoint Administrator and Microsoft applications and basic understanding of PowerShell would be an advantage for this role. Related certifications in these areas would be an asset.  We are looking for a team member who has commitment to ongoing professional development and certifications.

The incumbent will own product development and market segmentation. The Manager, Brand is responsible for the development and design of our corporate brand that will improve awareness and drive business to the credit union. Work collaboratively with team members and departments to deliver professional marketing programs that effectively and accurately communicates defined objectives and business goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Build a coaching culture to support a team of specialists to solve their own problems, make their own decisions and own their personal development. Provide your team with experiential learning opportunities.
  • Support the development and messaging of the brand narrative ensuring consistent alignment to Cornerstone Credit Union brand, vision, purpose, values and strategies.
  • Develop, execute and manage marketing programs and campaigns utilizing data to provide members with advice and financial literacy in the moment the members need it. Develop campaign reports and data analysis to monitor growth, member loyalty and overall campaign success.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of our member or general market research initiatives. Analyze primary and secondary research, prepare recommendations for action and execute approved plan to improve the overall brand experience for our members.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitive activity.
  • Lead the development of department budgets and tactical plans and monitor performance in relation to budget and plans.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Marketing and/or Communications plus 5 to 7 years of job-related experience in marketing, brand strategy or digital media or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
