Administrative Specialist

National Consulting Limited is looking for an administrative professional who is results-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and an eye for detail. This person would provide support to the NCL team that delivers products, services, and training to credit unions.  This position reports to the Executive Administrative Specialist.

The Job

 The successful candidate must be able to work independently as this is a remote (work-from-home) position. A typical day may include a variety of tasks such as coordinating conferences and training workshops, ordering tradeshow promotional items, creating newsletters, reconciliation and approval of invoices, and website updating. This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week). Computer equipment is supplied.

The Candidate

 The  ideal candidate will possess:

  • an Office Administration Certificate and at least 5 years’ office administration experience. Credit Union experience is considered beneficial but not necessary.
  • Advance computer and technology skills, especially in Adobe programs, Microsoft 365, and WordPress.
  • Understanding of fundamental budgeting and accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
  • Event-planning experience and solid time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

What will you do?

  • Identify member and potential member investment needs by analyzing investment portfolio, ascertaining their needs, and analyzing investment opportunities and market conditions and trends.
  • Provide a high level of sales and service of Credential Asset Management and Innovation Wealth investment products, and retirement income investment options to existing and potential members by supporting members virtually by phone, using digital channels, etc.
  • Provide members with individual portfolio planning which identifies the specific diversification strategy that fulfills the member’s needs
  • Support corporate strategies by building relationships with all members of the organization in the area of investments and retirement income investment options, including interaction with the Retail Sales area towards achievement of corporate goals.
  • Support development and the achievement of sales targets, marketing plans, and member service standards supporting achievement of targets and plans.
  • Complete annual review and regular client follow-up to ensure member’s needs are continuing to be met
  • Assess risk when making decisions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

As a Project Coordinator, you work closely with our Project Manager supporting projects driving business productivity, efficiency, and operations through innovation and project management execution.

You will be involved with all aspects of delivery, focusing on tracking and reporting on portfolio status of multiple projects concurrently to our team and partners.   • Preference is also given to project management, change management, or Agile certification.

Cyber Security Analyst

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the in-place security solutions; and identification, investigation and resolution of security breaches detected by those systems, and identifying and mitigating risks to our organization’s infrastructure and data assets. You are a highly motivated, working closely with our team to implement security controls and respond to incidents when they arise.

If you have a passion for Cyber Security, here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Perform the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions in accordance with standardized best practices generically, and the security documents specifically.
  • Participate in the planning and design of security architecture, creation of security documents, and Business Continuity Plan & Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Research and recommend products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Assist in the development of data management policies and procedures.
  • Support development and management of the cloud infrastructure. Have an understanding of company’s existing cloud architecture and technology portfolio.
  • Documentation, and manage a cloud technology standards policy.
  • Cloud architectural design, development and assist in implementation of end-to-end cloud integrated systems. Develop and execute test plans to check cloud infrastructure and systems technical performance.
  • Maintain operational configurations of all security solutions as per established baselines, and monitor all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations.
  • Review logs, interpret implications, and devise plans for appropriate resolution.
  • Participates in investigations, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Report policy adherence, system performance, breaches or any other IT related information.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field, with a minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft products (Azure, O365, Severs, SQL).
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into related issues, practices, and products.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed and a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Note: This position will sit for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components is required.
