About The Roles (2 positions available)
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Commercial Banking, you will join the Commercial Banking team at one of our branches that may be located on First Nations land in Saskatoon, Vancouver, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Yellowknife, or Meadow Lake.
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will structure and package competitive solutions to meet customers’ needs; manage and develop relationships; build your portfolio; analyze financial data and write credit applications; approve and renew credit; and monitor and control the portfolio.
As a Senior Commercial Account Manager, you will structure and manage existing and new deals while focusing on the day-to-day risk management of the files within the commercial portfolio, including underwriting large and complex credits; develop an effective sales growth strategy; develop, maintain and apply an understanding of pricing models/concepts; prepare competitive credit packages; facilitate syndication deals; and provide guidance to other team members, including training.
These roles are permanent full-time and are open to flexible working arrangements, including in-person in the branch, remote or a hybrid of both in-person and remote.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual who is passionate about establishing quality customer relationships with proven success in growing revenue and profitability. You have a positive attitude towards sales and able to identify business opportunities. You have sound credit judgement and understand how to apply credit policy and practice.
You must:
• have your undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent;
• at least three (3) years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry with a background in business banking
• an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• proven ability to manage a portfolio in a complex commercial and First Nations industry
• have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• have a working knowledge of portfolio management
• have an acceptable criminal record check and credit check
