Prosperity Credit Union is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Dealer Finance Relationship Advisor to support our Rosetown service location. Reporting to the Manager Dealer Finance, this position will assist in overseeing the Dealer Finance loan portfolio while building positive relationships with customers and providing exceptional service as a first point of contact. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized to ensure sound decision-making in the analysis and recommendation of Dealer Finance credit. This role will be required to work flexible hours, including rotational coverage for Saturday. Please note that this position is regionally based and will require travel.

Join our team and play a pivotal role in driving business at Prosperity as you:
- Support the effective management of the Dealer Finance loan portfolio by working toward loan growth targets in alignment with the Credit Union’s corporate strategy. Conduct thorough financial analysis for vehicle loans, ensuring sound credit decisions across commercial, agricultural, and consumer lending sectors.
- Analyze credit applications with attention to detail and accuracy, identifying opportunities and potential risks. Ensure all recommendations align with lending policies and procedures while maintaining the integrity of the Credit Union’s risk management practices.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with dealer partners to drive consistent business growth. Act as a key liaison between dealerships and the Credit Union, collaborating closely with partners and customers to develop credit solutions that align with each member’s needs.
- Maintain clear, open, and effective two-way communication with internal teams and stakeholders. Work collaboratively to identify and implement optimal solutions for customers, contributing to a cohesive and member-focused lending process.
- Identify and respond to problem accounts in accordance with established procedures. Serve as a corporate resource for financial recovery by managing delinquent accounts, guiding them through the resolution process while protecting the interests of the Credit Union and supporting the member experience.
Qualifications:
- Lending experience in consumer, commercial, and agriculture preferred, but will consider a combination of education and experience
- Agriculture industry knowledge and/or agriculture education is an asset
- Experience interpreting financial statements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work requirements to meet deadlines and work within time constraints
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with an aptitude for relationship-building
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
