Purpose of the Position:

The Systems - ETL Analyst provides support in ensuring that our in-house financial services systems are appropriately constructed, managed and operated throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Our financial services systems includes transaction processing, operational and regulatory reporting, and business intelligence environments.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities:

The Systems - ETL Analyst is responsible to conduct the ETL (extract, transform, load) process throughout the software development cycle by monitoring, controlling and maintaining the data integrity of data collection and database systems. You will do this by running reports, managing data extracts/imports, and providing data quality verification, while also continuously looking for opportunities to improve and automate current processes ensuring that new software development is performed appropriately throughout all phases of planning and development.

This role is also responsible to manage in-house financial services systems for the company by ensuring applications designs and processing activities to meet project requirements. You will collaborate with the business unit community to resolve specific problems, and/or make application improvements while supporting administration, security, and maintenance of systems. The Systems - ETL Analyst ensures appropriate program and user documentation, online help, FAQs, and other development documentation is created as required. The successful incumbent will design and develop new computer applications and associated databases according to specifications and user requirements, as well as provide end user support by troubleshooting or resolving problems with applications and systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a Computer Science degree 

  • Minimum of 5 years of database development experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience

  • Candidates with an appropriate combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
