We currently have an exciting Manager, Member Solutions opportunity at our branch in Burlington, Ontario.

Your Work at a Glance

As the Manager, Member Solutions (Burlington Branch), you will independently manage and oversee the overall operation of the branch, including the growth and maintenance of the investment, loans portfolio, and cash operations. You will use your expert leadership skills to manage all branch staff, implementing marketing plans for product and service promotion to members, and will use your strong analytical skills to review branch business progress, producing relevant reports as required. Through effective team management, you will direct staff to ensure our members are satisfied with Tandia’s service, coaching your staff along the way on sales techniques and cross selling of products and services that will enhance our member’s financial goals and their in-branch experiences. Team management also means that you will develop annual performance goals for your staff, and will conduct regular meetings with your staff so you can assess their performance and annual performance goals are being achieved. As the Manager, Member Solutions, you will pursue new business opportunities for the branch, understanding that we collectively share in Tandia’s successes.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Post-secondary education with a business, finance, or accounting focus
• 4-5 years experience in the financial services industry and/or the credit union system
• Previous management experience in the financial services industry
• Experience in credit underwriting, mathematical calculations on ratios and amortization schedules

You’ll require strong knowledge of:
• Effective coaching and team-building techniques
• Policies and legalities regarding lending and deposit services and taxation
• Investments, including registered plans
• Service and selling
• Decision making
• Time management
• Problem solving and conflict resolution
• Financial analysis
