EVP, Advisory Services
Reporting to the CEO, the EVP, Advisory Services is a key member of the executive leadership team at Affinity, responsible for leading the execution of advisory services which is essential in providing the remarkable member experience through the various stages of a members’ life cycle.

The role oversees the execution of a seamless member experience in a multi-channel environment (including advice centres, contact centre, online, and digitally assisted channels) by serving members in channels of their preference, seeking out new members, deepening relationships, and ensuring the reinforcement of the Affinity brand through relationships and member experience. 

The EVP Advisory Services provides strategic leadership and oversight to all member-facing areas of the organization including the Contact Centre and other digitally-assisted channels. 

While continuing to keep members’ best interests at heart, the EVP will grow Affinity’s membership base and increase wallet-share through an increased focus on its target markets and its disciplined approach in delivering the remarkable member experience. The EVP works closely with senior leaders across the organization to deliver seamless and integrated service and to ensure effective sales strategies align with providing the remarkable member experience.


The EVP Advisory Services is responsible for providing leadership to a team of 450 people across Saskatchewan including the following 5 direct reports: 

  • 3 Regional Directors, Advisory Services
  • Director, Wealth Strategies 
  • Contact Centre Manager 


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Commerce, etc.)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in senior sales management roles. 
  • Previous experience in successfully leading and coaching sales teams, in an expertise-driven environment.


  • Working cross-functionally and collaborating with the executive leadership team to ensure alignment in purpose and effort in communicating, promoting and implementing enterprise-wide strategies and priorities.
  • Actively contributing to strategy development and implementation, and acting as a key leadership liaison to various committees and effectively managing relevant relationships with the Board for the Sales/Advisory function.
  • Translating the vision for Affinity, through clear, effective and regular communication both cross-functionally and with the Advisory team.
  • Leading by example in visibly demonstrating Affinity’s values and culture and living Affinity’s brand within the community.
  • Holding the Advisory team accountable for cross-functional collaboration by ensuring a focus on the remarkable experience and alignment to organizational priorities.
  • Empowering the Advisory team by appropriately delegating responsibilities, accountabilities, and decision-making to ensure active execution and ensuring all financial, sales, and operating targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Delivering seamless member experience, across multiple channels, ensuring appropriate assignment of work and areas of responsibility to ensure market areas and member segments are covered effectively.
  • Building long lasting, meaningful relationships with members to retain and increase member share of wallet, while ensuring our members (and future members) trust Affinity’s expert advice.
  • Ensuring employees have an understanding of the unique and holistic lifecycle needs of our members and are enabled to demonstrate flexibility in identifying and addressing their needs.
  • Serves to advance the well-being of real people and their communities while deepening current member relationships and/or recruiting new members. Actively seeks to connect with current and potential members out in our communities.
