Your Opportunity

The Business Development Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers to achieve the objectives of both organizations. Considered an expert of Celero products and services, the Senior Account Executive manages large enterprise accounts.

This position is responsible for developing and creating new relationships while working with their existing book of business to ensure top level customer satisfaction and generate referral based new business. In addition, you will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with assigned accounts while successfully promoting company services.

A Day in the Life

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead efforts to establish and expand market share and revenue attainment within the Ontario and Eastern market

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market sales plan aligning the value proposition of Celero’s solutions and services to credit unions and FI’s in Eastern Canada to meet or exceed sales targets

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline: Create and implement complete business plans by channel which generate at least 3x their quota in pipeline opportunity

  • With a high sense of urgency, implement opportunity-specific programs to drive opportunity identification

  • Create and nurture executive relationships independently, while leveraging senior Celero colleagues to drive the sales cycle

  • Lead collaborative opportunity planning efforts for strategic deals and proactively involving internal stakeholders

  • Ensures customer satisfaction, liaising closely with account managers

  • Advise marketing colleagues on needed B2B revenue generating campaigns and programs to drive enterprise sales and channel loyalty

  • Execute sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across designated territory

  • Be available to travel 25% - 50% of the time

Your Resume

  • Bachelor Degree in an Information Technology discipline or Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (a combination of relevant education and experience will be considered).

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience

  • Competitive drive, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently

  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills in consultative settings, including experience with C-Level Executives and Business Owners

  • Proficient in developing account strategies and business plans to identify and secure business with existing and targeted accounts

  • Skill and comfort networking, generating leads, building a pipeline, and closing business

  • Advanced quantitative aptitude and problem solving capabilities; ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects

  • Demonstrated experience in business planning, sales, strategy development, business and financial acumen, and a complete understanding of various Business models
