As our Director of Operation Sales we are counting on you to:

  • Lead the strategic and operational planning for sales and service initiatives, market development, and product and service opportunities
  • Empower, engage, develop and support your team to meet goals and targets, creating a professional and highly successful team
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in our operations, balancing innovation with appropriate internal controls and compliance to legislation, regulation and policies
  • Establish collaborative and beneficial partnerships with key vendors, internal teams, and community stakeholders to fuel growth and provide an exceptional member experience 
  • Act as an ambassador for Westoba in the community, because here at Westoba, we are focused on the communities we work and play in
  • Continue to learn and grow, establishing both a personal learning plan and a role succession plan to enable your future success

What you bring to the table:

  • At least seven, and ideally 10, years of retail banking experience with a strong understanding of ways to grow our business is a must, and will be supported by a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 5 years of leading people – including strong experience in developing performance plans and coaching staff - is a must
  • You must be a forward-thinker with the ability to monitor trends and strategically translate them to our business, providing the leadership to drive and support organizational change as we transform banking as we know it!
  • You not only see the vision – you can define the path to get there, setting plans and goals to achieve success
  • You have experience leading process improvement and change initiatives
  • You are a collaborative leader, building relationships and inspiring not just your direct team, but staff and stakeholders across the organization
