We currently have an opportunity to hire an Internal Auditor in our Risk Management Department. The Internal Auditor is a strong communicator and relationship builder who collaborates with various stakeholders across the business.

The Internal Auditor is responsible for the development and delivery of risk-based audit programs designed to evaluate management’s system of internal controls as they pertain to the enterprise-wide risk profile. The Internal Auditor stays abreast of professional standards for internal auditing.

Qualifications Required


• Professional accounting or auditing designation (CPA or CIA), or enrollment in a professional accounting program, or equivalent

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in a financial institution

Technical Competencies
• Working knowledge of commercial and retail lending
• Working knowledge of financial deposit processes, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of policies and procedures related to the audit process and risk management

Non-technical Competencies
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of computer technology
• Organization and time management skills
