Some of the key responsibility areas are having a working knowledge and excellent analytical skills in the areas of balance sheets, cash flow mechanics, and business plans.   This position is required to actively monitor and manage relationships with branch staff with the intent of building long-term mutually beneficial relationships.  This role will provide prudent credit granting, collections, processing, and administration procedures to Crossroads Credit Union. You will also be expected to take an active role to lead, coach, guide, and train branch staff in the art of credit analysis and credit documentation as well as proactively manage high-risk loans, developing risk issues and changing credit needs through communication with branch staff to restructure deals, remediate risks and minimize loss. Our ideal candidate would maintain effective communication, build strong relationships, and manage change amongst various stakeholders.  We would also need you have the desire to be challenged by a dynamic workplace and have a passion for continued learning. 

To be seriously considered for this role, we are looking for someone with:

Experience:  Ideally, you would have 7 to 10 years of demonstrated credit adjudication experience. 

Education:  Degree education in agriculture, accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, or equivalent work experience. (IFIC, CSC, CFP is an asset).

Skills:  You must be inquisitive and passionate about cultivating new relationships, a dynamic, advice-driven person who finds satisfaction in developing and recommending solutions to help our members achieve financial confidence and you must appreciate the value received from lifelong learning.
