The Opportunity

LeRoy Credit union has an exciting and challenging career opportunity within our deposit and lending departments.  We are searching for a highly motivated financial service professional. Under the direction of the Office Manager and Lending Manager will work within a team of 11 individuals who provide a variety of financial services to our members.  Between the two departments it will be a full time position which is 37.50 hours per week Monday to Friday.  They will be responsible for all cash related services and postings of those transactions.  Other duties will include but not be exclusive to: wire processing, processing card related requests, electronic banking set up and maintenance and assisting members with their requests for day to day banking.  Along with the deposit transactions there will be loan administration duties, filing and support to the lending department in terms of registering loans, security, checking files and also sending requests to membership for file information.


  • Minimum Grade 12 is required,  post-secondary education would be considered an asset.  Credit Union experience would also be an asset but not necessary.
  • Working knowledge of computers and technology is mandatory
  • Effective listening, telephone and interview skills.
  • Confident individual with a positive attitude toward change, taking the initiative to learning and doing many different tasks. 
  • Strong internal and external relationships, both individually and in a team environment.
  • Experience providing high quality service in a demanding work environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
