As a member of Macklin Credit Union’s leadership team, the Officer Manager supports the credit union’s business strategy through the interpretation and execution of corporate strategies for the Member Services and Deposit Services Departments. This position manages operations on the front-line and with account openings and maintenance, including overseeing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance. The role is responsible to manage assigned staff, ensures staff resources are appropriately scheduled, and performs departmental budgeting and planning activities.

This Office Manager provides technical direction and resolves complex enquiries and problems within areas of responsibility; reviews, recommends and implements plans, procedures and practices to improve departmental operations and is responsible for the development and implementation of performance and service standards for their team. This role has responsibility and accountability to ensure overall departmental performance standards are met or exceeded and that all activities adhere to applicable regulations, policies, procedures and standards.

The successful candidate will have previous credit union experience with two (2) years of management or supervisory experience. A university degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, economics or a related field is considered an asset. Equivalent combinations may be considered.
