Coastal Community is committed to improving financial health, enriching lives and building healthier communities. We are seeking to fill the position of HR Advisor, Recruitment & Selection.

Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Planning and Talent Manager, the HR Advisor, Recruitment & Selection is responsible for organizational recruitment. As a recruitment professional, the HR Advisor, Recruitment &Selection is experienced in effective hiring practices and recruits quality individuals that support the vision of Coastal Community. In addition, this position is also responsible for developing and applying recruitment and retention programs that are aligned to the corporate vision and effectively provide career coaching.

The successful candidate will have

  • Minimum of 2 year recruiting experience
  • Proven experience in all aspects of recruiting
  • Strong experience in providing detailed and accurate information to third parties
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma requiring 3-4years of full time study, in Human Resources Management with a specialization in Recruitment/Learning & Development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • CPHR would be considered an asset.

This individual is a highly motivated, self-directed learner and a champion of continuous learning. This position will involve travel to provide support to our locations across Vancouver Island.
