A strong and growing local financial cooperative with multiple branches situated in east-central Alberta, Encompass is seeking a new Branch Manager to lead our growth in our Wetaskiwin location.

Encompass Credit Union, a progressive member-owned financial institution, was established in the spring of 2015 through an amalgamation of Wainwright and Wetaskiwin credit unions, two strong rurally-based Alberta credit unions with institutional histories going back more than 70 years. We are a full-service financial institution offering banking, wealth management, and insurance services to our 11,000+ members, and are committed to 'making a difference' in our communities. With administrative headquarters in Wainwright and branches in 8 communities, Encompass has over $560 million of assets.

The Branch Manager, Wetaskiwin reports directly to the President  & CEO.

In this position you will:

· Coach, mentor, develop and motivate a team of professionals with a desire to meet and exceed member needs.

· Organize, schedule and monitor staffing to ensure maximum service levels are being provided to members.

· Lead branch staff and participate in their development; support achievement of sales targets.

· Manage the overall lending and collections of the loan portfolio of the branch.

· Actively promote the credit union within the community, solicit new members and foster business development.

Our desired candidate has;

· Demonstrated ability in all facets of branch management at a mid to senior level with experience over a 5-10 year period.

· Post-secondary education in commerce/ business administration. Completion of the Management Studies Program through Credit Union Institute of Canada would be an asset.

· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with an aptitude for relationship and team building.

· Strong commitment to member service.

· Ability to work independently with confidence while being an active member of a management team that has a strong commitment to member service.
