We’re hiring a Retail Credit Manager!

Position Overview

As an influencer, the Retail Credit Manager provides retail credit advice and guidance to branch teams, that contributes to the delivery of financial solutions to enhance our member’s financial well-being.

Provides credit related decisions and ensures sound underwriting standards are met and credit activities are in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements. Identifies and recommends to the VP Credit & Risk necessary changes to retail credit policies and procedures. Oversees a team Business Solutions Administrators that provide retail credit support to the organization and aligns activities with ACU’s strategic objectives.

Role model’s leadership, promoting and living ACU’s values, and fostering a culture where members are at the centre of decision making, employees are knowledgeable and ACU is recognized as a committed community partner.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum seven years financial service industry experience, preferably with five years retail lending
  • Direct leadership experience for a minimum of five years
  • Combined experience and post-secondary education in the areas that are directly related to our business will be considered

  • Ability to critically analyse situations and opportunities and formulate recommendations based on limited information
