We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Member Services Supervisor to lead by positive example. You will support management in supervising our team by being knowledgeable about solutions, acting decisively to resolve issues and working hard to ensure service levels are consistently high. The Member Services Supervisor will support the overall operations of our front-line Member Services Representatives. They will take the time to foster employee development through training and coaching to inspire actions that increase productivity, help attain goals and achieve initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create an environment that aligns with our Values and empowers employees to make decisions in their areas of expertise.

  • Supervise, coach, motivate and coordinate training for our front-line staff.

  • Oversee the daily activities of the Member Service Representatives and Tellers.
  • Create and promote a positive first impression for our members to help establish strong member relationships.
  • Ensure staff is well trained and up to date on all credit union policies and procedures.
  • Address member complaints and resolve issues in a timely and positive manner.
  • Create and maintain employee schedules
  • Ensure controls are being adhered to, to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and governance.
  • Develop in depth knowledge and act as an internal expert on deposit and investment products.
  • Commitment to ongoing development and education

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years cash handling procedures, including account reconciliation and balancing.
  • In depth knowledge of deposit and investment products.
  • Advanced knowledge of credit union or banking teller operations, products, and services.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge and ability to coach and develop a team of MSRs, as well as assist with platform coverage when necessary.
  • Ability to manage member conflict, communicate effectively, and research and reconcile accounts.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • An aptitude for listening, establishing rapport and determining solutions

  • The ability to help members and employees navigate through self-serve applications;

  • IT literacy, and digital knowledge.
