We are currently looking for a Transaction Services Administrator to join our dynamic and ambitious Operations team.   • What your day looks like:

    On a daily basis you will be:

  • Processing client EFT, cheque redemption batches, trade adjustments, Client Transfers, Government Tax Remittances, and other payments
  • Loading and reconciling daily settlements received from central depository
  • Creating electronic wires for daily payment to central depository relating to trade settlements as well as any other wires requested throughout the day
  • Maintaining daily settlement reports, and requesting money movement related to settlement of transactions
  • Acting as a point of contact for all trade and settlement issues handling problems/inquiries from other area
  • Printing and verifying cheques
  • Running reports to identify and investigate all trade exceptions
  • Preparing and processing daily bank deposits for internal bank accounts
  • Ensuring all bank deposit information is properly filed and maintained
  • Keeping manuals up to date in a timely manner and reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Receiving and reviewing financial and non-financial requests for account adjustments for Credential Asset Management (CAM) and Credential Securities (CSI)
  • Supporting external and internal partners on the most efficient processing methods as well as recommend solutions for timely and accurate issue resolution
  • Your experience and skills:

  • 2 years’ experience in an administrative capacity, preferably in the mutual fund and/or securities industry
  • Experience processing banking transactions and/or mutual funds administration experience
  • Successful completion or in the process of completing the Canadian Securities Course or IFSE Operations Course would be an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment independently as well as in a team environment
  • Highly self-motivated and results driven
  • Solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access); experience using Univeris an asset
