Under direction from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the role of Manager, Information Systems, Accounting and Centralized Services is to oversee the centralized administrative functions, accounting, and the management and development of secure and operationally effective Information platforms for Lake View Credit Union.

Working closely with the CEO, this role ensures overall execution of the finance, accounting, administration, tax, audit, budget, treasury and investment functions. Will frequently be called upon as a resource at the Board level to recommend to the Board of Director policies (in particular finance related policies) to ensure that the Credit Union functions in a well-managed environment that carefully balances the regulatory requirements, the economic environment, and the Credit Union’s ongoing sustainability and future viability



  • Provide leadership and technical support in the execution of maintenance, and implementation of new IT related products in conjunction with LVCU’s IT Roadmap, and with the collaboration and support of the Project manager, and IT service suppliers.
  • Provide administrative and technical support in conjunction with the network services provider in ensuring secure and effective IT systems are available.
  • Primary contact with network administrators and all IT service providers ensuring resolution and delivery of all scheduled system reports and system enhancement requests.
  • Primary contact for all network nodes as they pertain to LVCU operation.
  • Primary contact for support ticket creation and resolution to Fiserve, Celero and other relevant 3rd parties
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of data processing and reporting systems as utilized by multiple departments within Lake View Credit Union.
  • Maintain a library of material for end-user reference for the banking system and other software used, and assist in the interpretation of such.


  •  Oversees the administration of centralized services/processes, user access setup and accounts payable.
  • Oversee preparation of reports needed for interim and year-end audits by MNP
  • Promote productivity improvements and streamline processes through technology and identifying redundant procedures for the finance, administration and accounting functions
  • Ensure that all processes are documented.


Working closely and under direction from CEO, this role will:

  • Provide overall operational execution for the finance, accounting, tax, audit, budget and treasury and investment functions
  • Appraise and report on the credit union’s financial position and issue periodic financial and operating reports to the executive management and board of directors.
  • Streamline accounting processes through technology and identifying redundant procedures
  • Support the Finance and Treasury functions by being an active member of the Asset Liability Management Committee
  • Set and administer the rate structure and make recommendations on pricing and fee decisions in conjunction with executive management.
  • Provide ongoing management for the financial margin; provide alternatives and provide recommendations to enhance margin yield. Coordinates reporting and chairs Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO).
  • Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the Credit Union’s financial results to internal and external audiences.
  • Oversee the Credit Union’s internal and external audit function, as directed by the CEO or the Board of Directors.
  • Prepare annual capital and operating budgets for review, coordinate budget production and development forecasts, cash flow projections and other reports as required
  • Analyze economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the Credit Union’s operations; make recommendations as appropriate to enhance performance or to mitigate losses.


  • Manage, lead and provide direction to the Administrative Associates and Senior Financial Accountant
  • Establish performance standards, evaluate and manage performance of staff through conducting staff appraisals, regular employee coaching sessions and if necessary, progressive discipline.
  • Take a leadership role in creating an environment of continuous improvement by sharing best practices to all staff.
  • Adhere to service standards as they pertain to the position
  • Enthusiastically participate in various internal committees, community involvement and image building of the Credit Union.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor, MBA or a CPA designation is required
  • Proficiency in DNA banking system and Lodestar is necessary.
  • Developing knowledge in the areas of Asset-Liability Management, Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliation, managing market risk exposures on Financial Margin and Balance sheet positions
  • Strong proficiency in advanced Excel
  • A thorough developing understanding of regulatory reporting and filing requirements
