Coastal Community is committed to improving financial health, enriching lives and building healthier communities.  We are seeking to fill the position of Senior Account Manager to support the Capital Region.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Senior Account Manager is responsible to develop and promote business within the assigned region. By working with a team of professionals throughout Coastal Community the Senior Account Manager will provide a range of financial related services inclusive of loans and investments to the membership while looking for referral opportunities throughout. This position provides a quality member experience with all interactions and has a strong emphasis on business development and member satisfaction. The Senior Account Manager is an effective leader who creates a trusted environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.

The successful candidate will have a secondary school diploma with academic emphasis plus one year post-secondary education with up to one year of work experience in a sales and service environment. A minimum of 5 years of financial experience and 2 years of lending experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The preferred candidate will also have a thorough understanding of credit union operations, principles, and values.

In addition, our ideal candidate will also have:

  • Proven sales experience and demonstrated leadership skills 
  • Proven knowledge of deposit and loan products and services
  • Demonstrated personal lending knowledge 
  • Successfully completed CUIC 185, 210 and 240, or an equivalent 
  • Solid understanding of the competitive environment in the financial marketplace, and local communities within the region. 
  • Proven social networking skills with ability to connect with individuals inside and outside the organization

The Senior Account Manager will be able to develop collaborative, positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and will be a team player. This individual will also be a self-learner with high motivation to engage in continuous learning and self-development opportunities.
