On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Account Executive for Everlink Payment Services located in Markham, Ontario.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Vice President, Client Services, the Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with current, as well as, prospective clients in order to achieve overall sales objectives.

This position manages complex accounts by making informed recommendations on technical, financial and HR deployment to support organizational plans. They provide functional guidance to clients on request process, service delivery expectations and contractual agreements.

Accountabilities

The Account Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers to achieve customer and corporate objectives. 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Client relationship management; maintains and manages customer expectations through regular meetings with clients
  • Responsible for ensuring defined levels of customer satisfaction
  • Support/facilitate the client request process and ensure work is introduced to Everlink through clear and understood business practices/requirements
  • Participates in contract negotiations for new services and products , grows the assigned existing accounts by cross selling and up selling, and prospect for new accounts
  • Assists in the creation and management of account plans, outlining the overall product or service delivery to the customer
  • Acts as a focal point for response to RFI/RFP initiatives
  • Accountable for product/service and portfolio profitability
  • Liaise with the Product area to introduce new functionality and features to the existing and new client base
  • Liaise with Marketing to be visible and promote the Everlink value proposition at Client venues
  • Act as the customer's advocate within Everlink, and represent Everlink within the customer organization
  • Accountable for Revenue production, persistency and growth
  • Acts as an escalation point for client/employee issues relating to their accounts
  • Ensure proposals are submitted appropriately and on time

Professional Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and minimum 7 years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience in financial and/IT industry as it relates to their role
  • Professionalism - exposure to Customer Service Methodologies
  • Diplomacy - negotiation skills
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Advanced interpersonal skills able to interact with technical, management, senior, non-senior individuals in various circumstances
  • Results orientated and driven
  • Able to work independently with no supervision with a strategic goal in mind
