JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manager of Sales and Member Experience leads and manages retail and wealth management to ensure the team meets or exceed sales, service and operational goals. Participates in business development and community outreach events to establish a presence and drive member relationships. As a member of the leadership team, this position provides leadership and support across the organization.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Coaching, leading and mentoring employees within the retail, and wealth management areas of the business;

· Leading key projects as outlined in the annual strategic plan;

· Involved in developing sales strategy, targets and goals;

· Accountability for credit portfolio, deposits, mutual funds, insurance, credit cards, other income streams and referrals;

· Establishing and monitoring performance goals for the retail, and wealth management groups;

· Leading the delivery and sale of retail, and wealth leadership services by recommending, developing and implementing     
  strategies, business objectives and programs focusing on growth and member satisfaction;

· Reviewing and approving lending applications;

· On occasion, creating and presenting at board meetings; respond to questions and make recommendations;

· Conducting interactive product and serving learning sessions in order to build employee capability;

· Community engagement and promoting AWCCU in the community by participating and being involved in community 
  activities or events while demonstrating the Company values; and,

· Other duties as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· University/College education in Business Administration or related fields.

· Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to proactively lead a sales team.

· Advanced knowledge of lending practices and procedures.

· Credit union/ bank experience, required.

· Knowledge on core aspects of technology.

· A minimum of five (5) years in sales or a leadership role, preferably in a credit union or bank environment.

· Valid drivers’ licence.

· Some travel required.
