The Position:

The role of the Vice President, Information Systems is to provide strategic vision and leadership for developing and implementing all operational activities of the Information Systems departments, as well as provide direction and daily support for IS solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations to support the advancement of the owner credit unions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with the executive management teams and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of InStride Resources’ operational scope for the benefit of the owner credit unions

  • Direct the strategic planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, software, and web applications

  • Foster innovation that creates a competitive advantage, enhances customer experience, improves service quality, supports business development, improves cost effectiveness and leads to greater productivity and efficiency
  • Responsible for all aspects of information systems, technology, and initiatives across all areas of InStride Resources


  • 10+ years’ experience working within the information systems industry
  • 5+ years’ experience managing and/or directing an IS operation and personnel resources
  • Experience in leading, inspiring and coaching teams
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations
  • Substantial exposure to enterprise level  information systems including: system analysis and design, system integration, data analytics,  and enterprise business intelligence platforms and implementation of partner software
  • Experience in facets of system development, showing a breadth of knowledge and experience of the entire system development lifecycle including application support, business analytics, application design and development, system integration, quality control and project delivery
