The Opportunity:
The CUMIS Group Limited is looking for an Account Manager in the Credit Union Distribution department located in the province of Saskatchewan.

The role includes a Sales Incentive Program with 20% variable compensation.

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for business plan development and implementation for mid-market/micro accounts, as assigned. A key area of responsibility for the AM is delivery of credit union training and coaching across all credit union segments, ensuring CUMIS product and service penetration is maximized across all lines. The incumbent is also accountable for building and maintaining excellent relationships in the credit union system, to understand our clients, uncover needs and ensure that CUMIS is their insurance partner of choice.

Your Qualifications:

  • College or University degree in related discipline
  • Completion of/or working towards certificate, degree or diploma in adult education an asset
  • Minimum 3 years financial services experience, in the area of sales and/or operations, with understanding of credit unions preferred
  • Completion of/or working towards Life license 
  • Other General Insurance licensing as required
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Experience with identifying and executing on business development opportunities
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including proven ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong sales, presentation and training skills
  • Strong ability to create reports and synthesize data within Excel
  • Bilingual; English/French, may be required in certain locations
