With an emphasis on establishing and maintaining positive relationships with external and internal partners, this role will be responsible for administering the residential portfolio and underwriting processes within Concentra.  

Supporting the Residential Markets team, the successful candidate will provide timely and proactive support including:

· Administering the credit underwriting process of the residential mortgage portfolio within established limits, while ensuring adherence to established mortgage underwriting policies and guidelines

· Reviewing required documentation for accuracy and maintaining accurate documentation on mortgage applications

· On-going assessment of the portfolio, including the timely review of credit risk while ensuring high risk/watch list accounts are monitored effectively

· Ensure prudent credit decisions on complex mortgage files are completed within a timely manner

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant and progressive experience - preferably in residential mortgage underwriting, credit analysis, credit risk management, or a related field
  • University degree or equivalent - preferably in finance, business, or a related field
  • An Accredited residential mortgage professional (AMP) is preferred
  • Knowledgeable of the Canadian mortgage market as well as OSFI B20 guidelines
  • Ability to manage pressure in an environment of high volume and tight deliverables
