You’re invited to make a difference…as a full time Director, Wealth and Investments in our Head Office

Reporting to the VP, Member Experience, this role leads the long-term direction for wealth management and investment services, designing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive market engagement and sustainable portfolio growth through investment and insurance products and advice that support our members’ financial wellness. 

Specific responsibilities:

  • Gather meaningful research and insight from competitive market information, member behaviour and industry trends, to inform Kindred’s strategic direction and initiatives
  • Collaborate to develop and execute plans for product development and channel development
  • Build and cultivate industry connections and strong relationships with key third party vendors and other partners to evolve Kindred’s distinctive product offering and grow Kindred’s impact
  • Manage infrastructure to support service delivery, including financial planning software, CRM and reporting tools, and promote digitization and efficiencies in work processes
  • Support the investment team across Kindred through designing an effective operating model, building advisor capabilities, and defining the Kindred wealth experience.

You come from a career in wealth management, and bring a network of industry contacts, regulatory knowledge, and awareness of industry trends. You have a passion for innovation and collaboration, and ideally have some expertise in digitization, product development, and process improvement. You are motivated by empowering teams and providing them tools and resources to make a difference.   

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:

  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce or a related field
  • 10 or more years of progressive experience in wealth management
  • CFP or higher designation
  • Demonstrated leadership strengths and coaching skills
  • Proven skills in strategic planning, project management, change management
  • Active commitment to Kindred’s shared values and purpose
