What you’ll do:

As an Associate Manager, you will join a team of professionals responsible for oversight of PRFIs within the Saskatchewan credit union system. You will:

  • monitor the performance of PRFIs to proactively identify risk and communicate actions required to mitigate risk to depositor funds and the guarantee fund
  • utilize your knowledge in the areas of corporate governance, finance, and risk management to support monitoring and understanding of the financial services environment

Flexible hours and some travel are required as this business unit works with credit unions throughout Saskatchewan.

THE POSITION: Reporting to the Supervisor, Support Services, this position provides expertise in investment administration, registered and non-registered, providing the knowledge of products, tax implications, compliance to internal practices as well as CRA, FCAC and OSFI standards and guidelines. • Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of the Corporation’s PRFI crisis management framework

• Manage relationships with peer regulators, credit union system partners, and the office of the Registrar of Credit Unions

What you’ll need:
• Undergraduate degree in commerce or business; ideally supplemented with a graduate degree or professional designation (e.g., CPA, FRM, CIA)
• Five years of experience in the financial services industry or a finance related field
• Relevant knowledge and expertise in financial institution crisis management frameworks and/or experience in a regulatory environment would be considered an asset
• Demonstrated success in presenting information and facilitating discussions with key stakeholders

We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient, organized, detail oriented administrative professional who will provide day-to-day administration and office support to our National Consulting Team.

The Job

Working to support a group of cross-functional teams you will perform advanced administrative functions to support the delivery of products, services and programs that contribute to the operational success of credit unions. In this position, you will oversee proposals and other materials that are distributed to clients. You will manage document control for forms and administer credit union facing content on multiple websites. You will lead the marketing and promotions of training workshops and courses to credit unions. You will arrange logistics and preparation for meetings, webinars, events and training, while managing client billing and invoice payments to ensure that monthly and annual billings are processed in an accurate and timely manner. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with team members, credit unions and other external stakeholders is critical for this position.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in office administration and/or three years administrative experience. You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat DC. Familiarity with BaseCamp, Qualtrics and GoToTraining (Citrix) is an asset.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to take the initiative; working well both independently or collaboratively within a team. You will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and exceptional organizational skills. You will have a keen eye for detail and will effectively manage your time in order to meet tight deadlines. Knowledge or experience in the credit union system is an asset.

Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides executive, administrative, and development support to the CEO and Board of Directors, as well as the Executive Leadership Team. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to the CEO. You will:

  • assist with daily administrative duties and tasks that include manage email, calendar, and travel,
  • develop, edit, proof, and distribute documents and materials,
    • plan and organize board meetings and board planning including logistics, recommend meeting dates and dissemination of meeting materials,
    • maintain board corporate records,
    • communicate with board and executive,
