We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Commercial Banking Analyst on a Monday through Friday work week. The Challenge: 

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Banking Analyst you are accountable for providing support to Account Managers in the risk management of customers; preparing competitive credit package with a high quality of risk assessment, due diligence and credit presentation; understanding pricing models and applying them effectively; identifying business opportunities amongst existing customers; while adhering to the Bank’s guidelines, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience related to business lending, financial analysis and administration
  • Must have post-secondary education in business (BComm, MBA)
  • High proficiency with software programs (Excel and MS Word)
  • Analytical with ability to pay close attention to detail and prioritize work routine
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who takes an outgoing and enthusiastic approach to their work

Reporting to the Manager, Cloud Solutions & Enterprise Security you will identify opportunities to build out or streamline systems, eliminating redundant solutions and maximizing investments in existing solutions by utilizing your deep subject matter expertise to design, deploy, and migrate systems for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments. Based on requirements and restraints, you are able to evaluate new technologies for fit in our current infrastructure architecture while ensuring the protection, integrity and security of the credit union’s electronic data.

What you will be focusing on . . . .

  • Proposing and presenting recommendations for cloud based solutions
  • Build and manage an IT cloud infrastructure capacity plan
  • Design, transform and administer all cloud based solutions including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Domo, etc.
  • Develop, document, communicate and enforce a cloud technology framework and standards policy
  • Working with the team and other stakeholders to manage the design, implementation, development, documentation and maintenance of the credit union’s local and software defined wide area network and technology
  • Work collaboratively with the team to design and oversee access for local and software defined networks including configuration and monitoring of virus protection and secure remote access; ensure all software is properly licensed and documented for maintenance and insurance purposes
  • Maintain legacy servers, services, networking, backup and end point protection systems
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the information technology cybersecurity, disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Provide Tier 3 support effectively serving our internal members

What we are looking for . . . .

To be considered for our Cloud Engineer position, you must have:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Information Systems
  • A minimum of 5 + years of experience with Microsoft & other cloud technologies, or an equivalent combination of education or experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem; Microsoft Azure admin certification is an asset and will be a requirement to obtain within 2 years
  • Experience with core LAN/WAN/SDWAN network technologies
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture and Process Automation experience is an asset
  • Agile/Scrum certification is an asset
  • Advanced analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • A highly self-motivated and directed individual

Job Profile:

Working directly with the Chief Financial and Risk Officer, the Technology Support position will be primarily focused on providing support and service to all internal staff members at Radius, ensuring the effective and efficient co-ordination of technology requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Provide user support for all aspects of the Radius Credit Union banking system and GL.
  • Procurement and administration of all hardware and software including licensing requirements.
  • Support and assist all staff in the use of technology in a manner that will enhance knowledge, build self-confidence, and improve productivity.
  • Lead IT incident resolution with third parties including monitoring, follow up and service tracking.
  • Oversight of IT security and act as a strong resource for the business continuity and disaster recovery process.
  • Will work as a part of a team on all technology based services such as social media, RCU website, email, and RCU’s mobile banking app & banking system.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related experience with technology systems, networks, infrastructure, operations, and experience managing projects or a combination of experience and education.
  • Expertise in the use of IT concepts and security best practices to ensure a secure and efficient environment
  • Highly motivated with strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while continuing to stay on task and complete projects within required timelines.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union System & cooperative values would be an asset.
