Join our team, as the Director, Rural Tech Activation, to assist Cornerstone Credit Union in taking a leadership role to lay the foundation to a thriving entrepreneurial eco-system for AgriFoodTech startups and technology skill development. We believe this focus will contribute to the sustainability of our local economies, identify investment opportunities with the potential for a financial return, and to generate additional brand recognition that will grow our Agriculture related market share.

As a key strategic leader, you will collaborate with a multitude of external stakeholders in the region and province to discover opportunities to develop, coordinate and direct business and entrepreneurial activities that support Ag producers, Agribusiness and/or AgriFoodTech initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Business or Agri-Business and seven to ten years of experience in a business leader function or an equivalent combination of education and experience with comprehensive understanding of agriculture and agriculture technologies or agriculture marketing and communications.  You will have a leg up if you have an MBA.  We are looking for someone with experience with start-ups and innovation who enjoys meeting new people and can leverage partnerships to play a leadership role in getting all the players in the eco-system working together in a coordinated way.  You are interested in AgTech and can assist clients to connect to the appropriate supports and resources needed to overcome the challenges of implementing technology, helping the farm and business community adopt and adapt to innovative opportunities.

As SASCU’s Growth Marketing Specialist, you will be a powerful force in growing SASCU Financial Group’s business lines and brand overall. Using traditional and digital marketing savvy, you will grow our membership and client numbers, strengthen relationships, and enhance financial confidence.  Delivering on strategic priorities, you will create high-quality content and effective campaigns promoting SASCU products and services to target audiences. What you’ll do:

  • Drive leads and new business – develop and execute campaigns to effectively reach desired target audiences and achieve marketing goals.
  • Work closely with in-branch teams to execute their role in the campaign and optimize conversion of leads.
  • Create high-quality content for a variety of platforms, including SASCU’s websites and social media, to promote SASCU’s brand and the value of membership.
  • Create and manage online advertising.
  • Lead engagement and development of the Marketing Ambassador team to cultivate the relationships between marketing and branches.

What you’ll bring:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in a financial services environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using online platforms and tools to execute digital marketing strategies, grow social media channels, and track engagement.
  • Knowledge of product lines and business processes in the financial sector; front line experience providing financial services to customers is an asset.

  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of Google Ads and Analytics.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is required.

Senior Agricultural/Commercial Lender (BRA III)

The Business Relationship Advisor III is accountable for the growth, development, and oversight of the lending and financial needs of a number of relationship managed members.  This portfolio consists primarily of a variety of agriculture and commercial members whose needs are complex and require innovative and creative solutions to support their operations.  The Business Relationship Advisor III’s primary accountability is to generate growth through the acquisition of new members, deepen member relationships, and to know the agriculture and commercial market to develop new and valuable opportunities for the Credit Union.  Finally, the Business Relationship Advisor III will deliver results through partnership with a variety of Credit Union departments and partners by maintaining referral relationships with personal, commercial, and wealth partners when broader or more complex financial needs are required.  Given that the Business Relationship Manager III’s members reside and operate throughout the Credit Union’s region, travel is a definite requirement.

Member Experience Specialist

As the Member Experience Specialist, you will play an integral role in building full financial relationships with our members.  You will design, implement, and monitor innovative MemberFirst experience strategies and initiatives that advance member loyalty and advocacy.  You will enable and support retail leaders and employees in achieving business results through oversight of the sales performance framework and coaching culture, sales related tracking systems, and provision of sales coaching and skill development.  You will monitor sales pipeline and sales activities to ensure effective and proficient use of technology tools by employees, that support member service and ensure seamless delivery between different credit union service channels.  You will lead our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software vendor management, application support, and future development plan to maximize the value of our CRM system.  You will participate in and promote programs that enhance business development and our MemberFirst strategy.

Post-secondary education in Business with at least 4 to 6 years of retail leadership experience or sales coaching experience or an equivalent combination is the minimum requirement for this position. Regional Manager – Business Development

The Regional Manager – Business Development works with our rural branch teams to keep us growing. Working in partnership with the branches, you will develop and lead our sales and marketing efforts to grow deposits, loans, wealth opportunities, and sales of ancillary products to help our members succeed.  You will be an integral part of leading and inspiring your team in achieving these results.

Qualifications: Preference is given to candidates with a related degree or diploma and six to eight years business development or related experience in the financial services industry. Strong knowledge and understanding in credit granting associated with consumer, agriculture, and commercial lending is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
