As a Mobile Mortgage Specialist, you’ll grow Affinity’s residential mortgage business by focusing on origination outside of the advice centre network.

 What you’ll do:

  • Provide appropriate mortgage solutions designed to satisfy members’ long-term goals
  • Coordinate end-to-end mortgage fulfillment (often, remotely)
  • Accountable for increasing Affinity’s share of wallet by effectively promoting larger suite of consumer banking (including Wealth) capabilities and solutions and referring cross-sell opportunities to appropriate channel or specialists
  • Meet with members outside of the advice centre network, at the member’s convenience

What you’ve got:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Industry leading sales ability in growing a book, achieving targets and building a pipeline using a member centric approach
  • Experience in making expert lending product and service recommendations, as well as providing quality member centric referrals to other financial solutions experts
  • Experience with using a broad range of digital channels and devices (i.e. online services, mobile applications, smartphones, tablets, etc.)

  • 24 Months of Financial Industry Experience in an Advisory Capacity
  • Experience working in a customer care/customer service role
  • Experience in portfolio management
  • License and experience in selling Mutual Funds are required
  • Experience in Underwriting Loans is required
  • First Canadian Title Training
  • Registered Retirement Consultant designations; or working towards this designation

Member Experience Specialist

Post-secondary education in Business with at least 4 to 6 years of retail leadership experience or sales coaching experience or an equivalent combination is the minimum requirement for this position. Commercial & Agriculture Relationship Specialist

Prairie Centre Credit Union, Saskatchewan’s leading rural-based credit union, currently has a permanent full-time Commercial & Agriculture Relationship Specialist opportunity available. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, dynamic individual with a strong aptitude for relationship-building with current and prospective members, as well as internal teams. Reporting to the Vice President Retail Relationships, the Commercial & Agriculture Specialist will provide support to the retail team of Relationship Managers within Prairie Centre to ensure exceptional service to members.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively find opportunities to expand existing member relationships and for the acquisition of new member accounts through networking, referrals, and connections
  • Act as subject matter expert for large and complex commercial and agricultural lending requests
  • Build and manage the relationships of key member accounts in collaboration with regional Relationship Managers
  • Work together with regional teams on business development, growth, and community engagement strategies
  • Regular travel across PCCU trading area will be required

 Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Agriculture, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial and agricultural lending
  • Ability to take initiative with demonstrated experience in achieving sales/growth targets
  • People-oriented with the desire to interact, work with, and develop relationships with co-workers, current and prospective members, and community

Education

  • Canadian Securities course and Conduct & Practices Handbook
  • Must be IIROC licensed

Experience/Knowledge

  • 4-6 years of job related experience in a financial sales & services environment
  • Good knowledge of current domestic and international investment marketplace
  • Good comprehension of all insurance products
  • Knowledge of RRSPs, RRIFs, RESPs, mutual funds, and self-directed plan administration
