The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized to ensure sound decision-making in the analysis of data for the recommendation of credit. Reporting to the Vice President Credit, the Credit Analyst will be responsible for fostering internal relationships by providing exceptional service in retail lending through the provision of loan analysis and administrative support, to achieve overall growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to make recommendations of credit and provide appropriate solutions based on member needs
  • Complete financial analysis and data input for commercial, agriculture, and consumer loans
  • Utilize internal systems for data entry of financial statement and member information
  • Maintain open, two-way communication with internal stakeholders to determine the best solution for the member
  • Conduct loan portfolio analysis support for the Credit Department
  • Identify additional member solutions that create cross-selling opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Lending experience in consumer, commercial, and agriculture preferred, but will consider education and/or a combination of education and experience
  • Agriculture industry knowledge and/or agriculture education is an asset
  • Experience interpreting financial statements
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work requirements to meet deadlines and work within time constraints
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with an aptitude for relationship-building
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Mobile Financial Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key support role to fellow Financial Specialists, providing training, mentorship, and coverage across PCCU
  • Mentor and guide new staff in achieving their goals and acquiring the knowledge required to confidently offer PCCU products and services, including segmented financial planning.
  • Build value-based relationships with internal teams and members, providing feedback and appropriate recommendations that maximize efficiencies to ensure an exceptional member experience
  • Pro-actively work to retain and expand existing member relationships while pursuing new sources of business
  • Collaborate with the regional teams to develop creative and innovative approaches to achieving results
  • Develop and implement business development, growth, and community engagement strategies
  • Regular travel across PCCU trading area will be required

Qualifications:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation, or Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) Designation, or willingness to obtain
  • Active Mutual Fund License including Labour Sponsored Funds
  • Industry experience required, with demonstrated ability to gather assets
  • Advanced member service and sales skills with a strong understanding of the sales process and business development

  • Implement liquidity adequacy through preparation of reports, ensuring regulatory requirements are adhered to
  • Influence profitability through cash flow management and investment management

Qualifications:
