Leasing Account Manager (Full-time, Permanent)
The role of the Leasing Account Manager is to develop, secure and close profitable equipment lease financing transaction business in an assigned market segment or geographic territory by building, soliciting and managing channels of business from credit unions, brokers, vendors, and direct client relationships.
Key Outcomes:
The Account Manager is responsible for booking the annual budgeted volume of new transactional business with margin and fee contributions aligned to the business plan and budgeted targets. This includes negotiating structure, terms, and pricing on Lease Agreements and Loan Agreements that contribute to the business unit profitability. This role is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of an opportunity, from application to funding as well as providing expert advice and information to origination partners and direct clients. The Account Manager is responsible for soliciting the participation of affiliated and non-affiliated credit unions, vendors and brokers within the assigned territory to provide lease product information and facilitate equipment leasing workshops and training seminars.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a post-secondary degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 5 years experience in commercial leasing or a regulated financial services environment
- Proven track record in territory sales management within the financial services industry
